Pulau Dewata - Day 2
Breakfast mmg included tp very da basic breakfast, ala carte.
1st stop was at Tanjung Benoa, pantai tempat aktiviti rekreasi air dijalankan.
Tapi rate dia sungguh meloyakan tekak. Memang tidak lah.
So we continued to the next destination, which was Dreamland beach.

Pulau Dewata - Day 1
Perwisataan kami ke Pulau Dewata bermula seawal jam 6 pagi. I drove to Taman Melati and park kat sana sebab da plan nak gerak ngan Saz from LRT Melati.
Jam 630 pagi sume da berkumpul kat KL Sentral. Ade jugak yang sempat melahap dulu, breakfast katanya.
Around 7am we took the KLIA Transit to Salak Tinggi and arrived LCCT (read: Warehouse) around 8am. Sib baik sempat huhu
Jam 9.25am a/c pushback for taxi and takeoff. The 3-hour flight was uneventful, so nothing much to share.
Chewah!
Around 1230pm, we safely landed at Bandara Ngurah Rai (DPS) and was greeted by nice sunshine.

Immigration was smooth cuma at first tersilap masuk kat VOA queue. Silly.
FYI, Rakyat Malaysia tidak memerlukan Visa untuk memasuki Indonesia atas lawatan sosial/melancong up to 90 days, so xyah la nak VOA sgt :P
Disebabkan kesemua peserta trip kelaparan, maka kitorang mintak Pak Toni bawak pergi makan dulu.
Santapan pertama kat Bali adalah kat Restoran Ayam Tulang Lunak Gilimanuk dekat-dekat ngan airport tu.
Tapi sebab lapar punya pasal, xde sorang pun snap gambar kat sini.hahahaha
Tapi best sebab ayam dia memang lives up to the name tulang lunak, memang boleh makan sebab tulang tu da lembut giler. Sedap pulak tu, dah la lapar. Tapi restoran ni memang harga cekik darah sebab tahu sume yang datang ni pelancong. Takpelah, yang penting kenyang. Burrrpppp..Alhamdulillah.
Check In Hotel
Lepas sume da kenyang, Pak Toni drive kitorang ke hotel i.e Sara Residence.
Hotel ni terletak di area Legian, dekat-dekat ngan Seminyak and Kuta area.
Kitorang berenam book 3 bedroom apartment kat tingkat atas sekali, macam penthouse laaaa. Konon.
Tanah Lot
Tarikan utama kat Tanah Lot ni ialah Pura Luhur Penataran iaitu temple (Pura=Temple)
Tujuan ke sini bukanlah untuk sembahyang kat temple tu, tapi nak jalan-jalan cuci mata, tengok keindahan alam ciptaan Tuhan. Niat kena betul sebab kita datang kat tempat 'pemujaan' camni.

Haaa, Bali pun ade Giant ok.

Review: Impiana Resort Cherating
“Good value, if you dont expect much”
as reviewed for TripAdvisor
We chose Impiana after comparing it with some other comparable accommodations in cherating.
Booking was done online direct with impiana which was hassle free and smooth.
Check in was below my expectation as there was no proper greetings which feels like you're not welcomed there. It was like "here, here's your key..this way, this way..bye bye..". No welcome drinks or hot towels etc, if u expect those. The only consolation was our room got upgraded for free.
Our upgraded Superior Duluxe Seaview was large, almost like a suite with living room, two balconies and wardrobe. Bathroom was large too with bath tub, but missing a shower curtain, if you prefer shower but not wanting to wet the floor.
Breakfast was average, expected more variety in terms of local delicacies that the east coast is famous for. Most of the food were rather tasteless.
The resort shows its age and there were efforts to upgrade it (replacing the timber walkway etc) but more to be done if really wanna make impiana cherating a true gem.
Overall, its a good value if you dont expect much.

Cherating Quickie
Jumaat lepas, Fizi and me had a short getaway to Cherating.
It's really been a while since the last time kitorang bercuti so it's really a long due holidays, although it's quite short. Yelah susah nak plan lepak same-same camni since both of us busy with our own things to to.
I made the booking online for Impiana Resort Cherating after considering the reviews.
Rate was RM258 per night which was ok-lah.
At first wanna settle for a the rustic Tanjung Inn but knowing Fizi he'd prefer a decent hotel to stay even just for 1 night. LOL
So, off we travel to Cherating which was about 2.5 hours drive from KL.
We arrived Cherating around 6pm and quickly find ourselves heading to Impiana in no time.
Check in was a breeze although no welcome drinks as indicated on their website.
It's not really a big deal for me, but if you don't practice it might as well remove it from the website, coz other guests may be fussy about it. I did a review on TripAdvisor too and mentioned this.
We booked the Superior room but was given a Superior Duluxe room which was great.
I like the roomy, mini-suite kind of spec and the 6-poster bed (haha)
which was actually 2 beds combined together.

All the rooms here a facing the beach and there's also suites, suitable for family.
Impiana Resort Cherating is a 20-year old hotel and you can see the aging fixtures of this resort.
But it's good to see that the management is doing something about it. At the time we stayed, the timber flooring for the walkway was being restored.

Since it's quite late in the evening and it just rained as we reached, we just lepak in the room.
That night we crossed the state border to Kemamang to have dinner, in search of good seafood place.
We ended up at PC Ikan Bakar near Geliga where we had Siakap Stim Lemon with rice, which was fulfilling.
The next morning, had breakfast at Impiana's Kedai Kopi.
I was expecting Nasi Dagang or Nasi Minyak for breakfast, but they don't have it, instead they have roti jala which I found quite tasteless. Didn't really try the other food on serve, so just had my coffee and watch Fizi eats.
Lepas da abis makan, we checked out and it's time to jalan-jalan.
1st stop: Pantai Kemasik

Next was trip to Pantai Kemasik. We've been here before (check out this entry) and came here for a quick photo session.
2nd Stop: Kemamang Mini Zoo
Banyok jugok binatang kat mini zoo ni, tambohan pulok ade taman rekreasi air tapi mase kami pergi kolam air ditutup untuk upgrading project.
Bayaran masuk: RM10/dewasa RM7/kanak-kanak
3rd Stop: Warung Aziz Satar

Sebelum bertolak pulang ke KL, stopped by Kuala Kemamang for this:
Haaaaa..kalu nok kenal, ni lah satar.
Kedai jual satar paling femes kat Kuala Kemamang ni ialah Aziz Satar (mcm nama seniman plak) haha
Nak ke warung ni senang je sebab dia terletak kat jalan nak ke Kuala Kemamang.
Dari Federal Route 3 (Kuantan-Cukai) masuk simpang tiga kat Masjid Geliga & Hentian Bas Ekspress Cukai. Pastu ikut je jalan nak ke Kuala Kemamang, nanti sebelah kanan ade warung warna kuning dan biasanya dipenuhi orang.
Kat Aziz Satar ni bukan saja ade satar sebab warung ni berkonsepkan foodcourt.
4th Stop: Pantai Cherating
Then, lepak sini cuci-cuci mata, sambil menikmati suasana sunset (walaupun sunset xcantik kat pantai timur)
5th Stop: Teluk Cempedak
Sampai sini dah malam, so lepak kat McD sebelum teruskan perjalanan balik.
